Looking for piano or voice lessons? Stuck on a plateau of skill and need help progressing? Need a bit of one-on-one guidance to take your musical abilities to the next level? Know nothing about music but have the desire to learn? Holding two Masters Degrees in Music (Piano Performance; Music Composition and Theory) from West Chester University, and a Bachelors of Music from Cairn University, Sawyer Whitted brings a depth of professional experience and knowledge to those who are eager to expand their minds, talents, and skills in the area of piano and vocal development. He is also a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and offers quality, personalized service at affordable prices. Sometimes all it takes to really understand the material is a considerate instructor who knows how to teach at your pace. Sawyer has been playing piano since he was seven-years-old, and singing since he was three! Music, specifically the piano and singing, is Sawyer's biggest passion in life, along with building relationships with others. Sawyer has taken years of professional voice lessons (both jazz and classical, at the undergrad and grad levels) and has been a part of notable choirs like the Sola Gratia Musicians and the Cairn University Chorale. Having taken lessons and played piano for over two decades, we offer piano lessons for any age, any skill level, any desire and passion for piano. If you love music or simply have the desire to learn, contact us so we can discuss lessons! We are willing and eager to work with you at whatever skill-level you are at.
VOICE LESSONS
Whether you’re a soprano, alto, tenor, bass, or you have no idea, we can help you! Sawyer loves singing and has taken professional classical voice and jazz voice lessons and classes. We are accepting students of any skill level and any age.
THEORY AND TECHNIQUE LESSONS
Incorporated into all of our lessons, we will teach you music theory and techniques. Understanding music theory helps you become a better musician. Knowing how to listen well, how to read music, and developing aural skills aids you in your musicianship. If you aren’t interested in piano or voice lessons, we offer separate theory lessons.
